    The Flight
One of Simon's nephews was staying with us for a few days in August, so I had booked the C172 on the 18th for another flight around Oxfordshire. This time, we would make sure we took in Didcot where he had lived for a few years before his family moved up to Nottinghamshire.

Rather than go the same way as last time, I decided to route south of the Benson MATZ in order to overfly Henly-on-Thames and arive more directly over Didcot, followed by Hinton again so Adam could see his Grandma's house before routing back the same as before over Oxford.

The plan, therefore, for the outbound leg was:
